La Costa Di Ome
Grandfather Bigio Papi (Luigi) spent his days tirelessly in the hills of Franciacorta, taking care of his vineyards with loving passion. Her children first, and her granddaughter Elena then, together with her husband Paolo, managed to realize her dream: an underground cellar and carved into the rock that is the fulcrum of organic farming. The love for the land and for healthy wine that embraces three generations.
The coast is a hill between the valley of Ome (which takes its name from the stone houses) and Valzina, pampered by the sun from dawn to sunset and caressed by a constant breeze. The limestone rocks are covered with clay and the impervious terrain imposes a terracing on almost all the vineyards.
Organic farming is a natural choice for those who, like them, love the land, nature and want to respect its rhythms and needs.
