We have not yet had the honor of entering the winery in Monforte d'Alba and meeting Flavio Roddolo. On the other hand, we had and still can have the honor of drinking his wines and taking a dip in the traditional and historical Langa. And luckily for us, Flavio Roddolo's wines already tell a lot. They speak of the territory, roots that intersect in the complex soil of the Langhe, of the indigenous vines that, in addition to Nebbiolo, form the hills. A particular mention should be made for the Dolcetto this winemaker is able to interpret better than anyone else and enhance its characteristics. In this small winery in Monforte d'Alba and in a few others, the rhythm of wine takes another step.
